1. Overview

PianoFlow is a piano learning app that connects to your MIDI piano and guides you note by note. We respect your privacy and collect only the minimum data needed to provide the service.

2. Information We Collect

Account information:

Email address — collected during sign-up for authentication purposes.
Name and email via Apple Sign In — if you choose to sign in with Apple, we receive the name and email you authorize. This information is stored securely in our authentication provider (Supabase).

Data stored locally on your device:

Practice progress, scores, and streaks (stored via UserDefaults).
This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to sync it.

3. Bluetooth Usage

PianoFlow uses Bluetooth to connect to your MIDI piano (BLE MIDI). Bluetooth is used solely for receiving musical input from your instrument. No location data or personal information is collected through Bluetooth.

4. How We Use Your Information

To authenticate your account and provide access to the app.
To store your learning progress locally on your device.

5. Third-Party Sharing

We do not share your personal data with any third parties.

Our authentication service is provided by Supabase, which stores your email and authentication credentials securely. No other third-party services receive your data.

6. Analytics, Tracking & Advertising

PianoFlow does not use any analytics or tracking tools. We do not display advertisements. We do not collect usage statistics or behavioral data.

7. Data Security

Your authentication data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored securely by Supabase. Practice data is stored locally on your device and is protected by your device's security features.

8. Data Retention & Deletion

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion, all associated authentication data will be removed from our servers. Local data on your device can be removed by uninstalling the app.

9. Children's Privacy

PianoFlow is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
